I haven’t written anything in quite some time. Life got in the way is the short version of the answer.

The combination of a full-time job and a full-time course load in graduate school did not leave much time for myself. I want to change that, though. I want to take the time to write for myself. I want to take the time to get back into the groove of doing things that I actually enjoy. And that includes talking about TV and movies with my friends. Media analysis brings me joy, and I can’t believe I let anything stop me from truly getting started with this blog.

So, I’m back. Excited to get started. Relieved to feel the keys beneath my fingers again, typing about art rather than financial data. (I’m almost done with my master of accounting degree.)
